I started training Muay Thai with Chris before Taohaus opened, and he's been a fantastic coach from day one. He's incredibly patient, highly skilled, and has a real talent for breaking techniques down in a way that's easy to understand. His sessions are always energetic, you get so much out of them and walk away feeling like you've really worked.

Taohaus has created a genuinely welcoming and friendly environment where everyone feels comfortable learning and improving. The atmosphere is great, the members are lovely, and there's a real sense of community.

The coaching team is exceptional, with knowledgeable, high-quality coaches who are passionate about helping people develop their skills. If you're looking for a Muay Thai gym with excellent coaching, a supportive culture, and a great group of people, I couldn't recommend Taohaus highly enough.

There are plenty of places where you can train martial arts, but it’s rare to find a place like this. I’ve been training with Chris for two years, and it’s still the highlight of my week every single time.

Chris’s enthusiasm is infectious! You’ll come in for one class just for fun and somehow end up trying all the others too, E A S Y.
The same enthusiasm, passion, and dedication runs through all the instructors, and you can feel it throughout the entire studio.
Whatever gets you through the door, you’ll quickly realise it’s much more than a place to train. Don’t believe me, give it a try. I bet you won’t regret it.

Side note: the studio aesthetic is elite

Three months ago, during a stressful time, I felt a strong urge to try boxing and kickboxing. I found Taohaus in Snaresbrook, and as a complete beginner I was a bit nervous about joining. Chris was great and integrated me into the class from day one, making me feel comfortable straight away. I've also trained boxing with Carl, who is knowledgeable, patient, and excellent at teaching the basics. The atmosphere, community, and energy are fantastic. It's become a healthy addiction—if I miss a session, I genuinely feel like something is missing! I always leave feeling lighter, happier, and full of positive energy. 🙌✨️

Chris had built a very slick and modern martial arts studio. A solid collective of trainers will give you a variety of training and skill set. This is an excellent place to start your muay thai journey, it is a safe and unintimidating environment. All the students are well grounded, no egos. Highly recommend.

Have been going as a beginner for a few months and made some solid progress already to my muay thai technique and general fitness thanks to Chris. Great atmosphere in small classes (8 people), which means you get some actual advice. Highly recommended!
